EDMONTON, AB – Computronix is pleased to announce that its market-leading POSSE Alcoholic Beverage Control (“POSSE ABC”) software has been selected by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) for its new Regulatory Assurance Solution (RAS) project.
Following a successful requirements finalization phase, AGCO chose Computronix to implement its innovative POSSE technology solution to support the Commission’s need to streamline its liquor and gaming processes into a single, one-stop Licensing and Enforcement environment, capable of supporting liquor and/or gaming regulatory processes with the flexibility AGCO envisions for its consolidated RAS system.
The new POSSE ABC system implementation will be a multi-phased project, culminating in the full enterprise deployment of POSSE ABC across all AGCO departments. POSSE’s agile work management platform will provide an exceptional foundation for continuous improvement and optimization of the system by AGCO staff over time.
“I’m looking forward to working with Computronix to shape and define what this system will look like,” said Susan Mainella, Director of the Portfolio Program Management Office at AGCO. “The new system will help our staff and stakeholders alike by making our processes more effective and more user friendly.”
Inducted into the Smithsonian Institute for Innovative Technology, Computronix’ awarding-winning and powerful POSSE software engine will support the complex and evolving needs of AGCO. POSSE ABC provides a streamlined, integrated solution, industry-leading best practices, integrated mobility, powerful underlying configurability, and a contemporary architecture that provides an ideal, high-fit foundation for regulatory agencies.
“After the requirements finalization phase, we were excited to be selected by AGCO to continue through the full implementation of the RAS project,” said Gord Meeberg, Computronix Vice President of Business Development. “I know both the Computronix and AGCO teams are eagerly anticipating the implementation of POSSE.”
