DENVER, CO – Computronix is pleased to congratulate the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board for being named Overall Winner in the 2016 StateWays Control States Best Practices Awards. This award recognizes the agency that is leading the beverage control industry in innovation, education and enforcement.
The PLCB was showcased in the November/December issue of StateWays. They were selected as the best of 17 control agencies for their advancements in the categories of: Warehouse/Wholesale Operations, Retail, Consumer Education, Alcohol Education, and Technology. The achievement that was specifically recognized in Technology was the PLCB+ system built using Computronix’s POSSE ABC solution that the PLCB implemented this year.
Pennsylvania first selected Computronix and POSSE ABC in 2014, and have implemented the solution in multiple phases over the past few years – initially starting with online brand registration in late 2015, and then adding the online licensing, enforcement and education modules with multiple go-live events throughout 2016. “We have been very pleased to work with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board for the last two years, and are proud to be a part of helping them achieve this prestigious award. We look forward to a continued partnership with the state in the future,” said Gord Meeberg, VP Business Development for Computronix.
